Job description

Your new company

Join Adelaide’s largest independently owned Chartered firm, renowned for its strong reputation, supportive culture and long-standing client relationships. This firm offers the best of both worlds – the resources, systems and client base of a large organisation, combined with the flexibility, accessibility and people-first approach of a genuinely local business. With a strong focus on professional development, collaboration and work-life balance, it’s widely regarded as one of Adelaide’s most desirable firms to build a long-term career.

Your new role

Due to continued growth, opportunities exist for both Intermediate and Senior Accountants within a high-performing Business Advisory team. You will work with a diverse client portfolio across SMEs, family groups and larger private entities, gaining exposure to compliance, advisory and value-add consulting work.
As an Intermediate Accountant, you will focus on preparing financial statements, tax returns and developing your technical capability with support from experienced mentors.
As a Senior Accountant, you will take on greater responsibility including managing client relationships, reviewing work, mentoring juniors and delivering more complex advisory solutions.
Across both roles, you may gain exposure to a broad range of industries, including Agribusiness clients—experience in this area will be highly regarded, though it is not essential.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant accounting degree and CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience within a public practice accounting environment
  • Strong technical skills across tax and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive attitude and desire to progress your career
  • For Senior level: demonstrated experience managing clients and reviewing work
  • Agribusiness experience highly regarded (not essential)

What you'll get in return

  • Clear and achievable career progression pathways
  • Structured training, mentoring and development programs
  • Exposure to high-quality clients and advisory work
  • Supportive, collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Flexible working arrangements promoting work-life balance
  • Competitive salary package aligned with experience
This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm consistently recognised as one of Adelaide’s top employers, offering long-term career growth in a professional yet genuinely supportive environment.
