Hays Recruitment is a leading Australian agency specialising in Trades and Labour. We have partnered with a well-established organisation, located in south Brisbane. Your new role
As an electrician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing fixed cranes and hoists, including fault-finding on low-voltage motors and control systems. The role involves installation, commissioning, testing, and working with components such as relays, contactors, PLCs, and radio-controlled systems. You will also carry out inspections, disassembly, and replacement of crane components while ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role requires strong client interaction, adherence to safe work practices, and contributing to continuous improvement and site safety. What you'll need to succeed

Satisfactory Reference (Within last 12 months) Proven experience in industrial electrical capacity Strong commitment to safety and quality standards Ability to work a local workshop and complete remote work Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Proven ability to work within a team and ability to work autonomously Experience with fault-finding and troubleshooting on industrial equipment and control systems

CPR/LVR White Card QLD Electrical Licence (unrestricted) Working at heights Elevated Work Platform Over 11m (EWP) Drivers Licence Open C Class High-risk work licence
