Business: STARK FOOD SYSTEMS (NSW) PTY LTD Address: 23 Sangster Cres Hanwood, NSW - 2680 AUSTRALIA Position: Full Time Fitter (General) Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation

Tasks include:
• Undertaking preventative and routine maintenance schedules and services to achieve machine and line efficiency
• Repairing the machines, equipment’s, metal components and its parts and fitting the metal parts and assemble them as per the standards
• Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner and minimizing the downtime
• Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment to restore functionality.
• General maintenance within a food processing environment
• Strip and removal of equipment, survey and repair the equipment
• Installation and Testing of repaired equipment
• Fault diagnostic of equipment
• Testing and ensuring the fabricated and assembled metal parts are as per the required standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
• Responsible for all tools and ensure no tools are left in production areas

Skill level required:
• Certificate in the relevant field is mandatory
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience
• Experience working in the plant maintenance is advantage
• Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong attention to detail
