Rolld Smithfield and Rolld Cairns Central is seeking a qualified and experienced Cook to join our growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing high-quality Vietnamese cuisine and supporting the day-to-day kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Assist the chef in food preparation, seasoning, grilling, hot pot, and wok techniques.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when required.
• Work effectively during peak periods and collaborate with the kitchen team.
Essential Requirements:
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or higher (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum one year of full-time experience.
• Strong experience in grilled, hot pot, and wok cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in Vietnamese and English is an advantage.
Salary: AUD $73,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
