This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time and Fixed Term Full Time / Part Time appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

CLASSIFICATION - MP Year 1-9 $365,665 - $465,018 p.a. pro rata or $700.96 - $891.41 per session (inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances)

Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

Key Responsibilities Leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist Anaesthetic services to patients. Promotes patient safety and quality of care. Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for Doctors in Training, health service medical practitioners and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants works to achieve national, state and SMHS performance standards and targets.
