Chef Position at Aromas of India - Full Time (38 Hours/Week) Location: Aromas of India, Nerang, QLD Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum Shifts: Rotating Monday to Sunday

Join the team at Aromas of India, a renowned Indian restaurant, and bring your culinary expertise to our kitchen! Qualifications & Experience:
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.

Job Duties:
• Plan and design exciting menus while estimating food and labor costs.
• Oversee the ordering of food supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Monitor dish quality at every stage, from preparation to presentation.
• Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to discuss food preparation and address any issues.
• Demonstrate expert cooking techniques and provide advice on preparation procedures.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and cooked to perfection.
• Enforce strict hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed.
• Handle food preservation and freezing where applicable.

Required Skills:
• Proficient in menu planning and food costing.
• Strong ability to monitor and maintain quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management.
• Expertise in cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations.
• Experience in staff training and management.
• Ability to handle food preservation and storage effectively.
