HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a leading Government organisation to recruit an APS5 level Data and Reporting Analyst located in CAMPBELLTOWN NSW. This role sits within a high-performing analytics team focused on delivering data-driven insights to support operational decision-making and strategic outcomes. About the Role As an APS5 level Data and Reporting Analyst , you will work under limited direction to deliver high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights that inform key business decisions.

Extract, manipulate and analyse complex datasets to produce meaningful insights and reporting outputs Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations to support organisational performance monitoring Identify trends, risks and emerging issues to inform timely operational decision-making Ensure data integrity through robust validation, cleansing and quality assurance processes Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions Contribute to improving reporting processes, tools and methodologies Support project activities including planning, tracking and reporting on outcomes Prepare clear, concise and visually engaging reports for diverse audiences

About You You are a detail-oriented and proactive data professional with strong analytical and communication skills.

Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends, patterns and insights Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively High attention to detail, particularly in data validation, cleansing and reporting accuracy Demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and translate business needs into data outputs Proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes and solving data challenges Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting project delivery and analysing business requirements (desirable)
